Aysha Rizwan, Jeff Clumpus, Johanna Beck, Matt Reesor and Vishal Lakshman Join Quinn+Partners

Aysha Rizwan, Analyst, Toronto

Prior to joining Quinn+Partners, Aysha worked in the public sector implementing international redevelopment projects. She focused on improving safety and sustainability, particularly in the fields of energy, water and climate resilience.

Aysha graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce at McMaster University and holds a Master of Environment and Sustainability degree from Western University.

Jeff Clumpus, Consultant, Toronto

Jeff holds a degree in Engineering Aerospace and is a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Finance. He is passionate about sustainability and strongly believes that financial investment and government policy are vital to the widespread adoption of sustainable practices. Jeff’s interdisciplinary academic and professional experience gives him a dynamic and comprehensive approach to understanding climate issues.

Johanna Beck, Analyst, Montreal

Johanna joins us from Concordia University’s Sustainability Ecosystem, where she partnered with Senator Rosa Galvez on the Climate-Aligned Finance Act, collaborated with industry experts to present recommendations to the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) and supported the development of micro-certificates on biodiversity, water, carbon and transition finance.

Johanna is a Bachelor of Commerce graduate from Concordia University, prior to which she studied at the University of Lille with a specialization in Medicine, Applied Biology and Sciences.

Matt Reesor, Analyst, Toronto

Matt is a Bachelor of Arts graduate from Western University, with an Honours Specialization in Political Science. He is working towards a Master of Science in Sustainability Management at the University of Toronto. Recently, Matt spent his co-op term at Maple Leaf Foods where he coordinated their 2023 materiality assessment, led research and managed waste audits. He is currently completing his thesis on success factors for international environmental agreements and their role in shaping policies for achieving emission reduction targets.

Vishal Lakshman, Analyst, Toronto

Vishal joins our team from Arbor, a carbon management platform, where he played a pivotal role in  research and development. He brings his comprehensive knowledge of lifecycle assessments and greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory experience. During his master’s program, his thesis focused on evaluating the environmental feasibility of growing biomass for biofuel production. He also conducted research at the Institut de Recherche et de Développement en Agroenvironnement (IRDA), concentrating on implementing pyrolysis processes.

Vishal graduated from the Sreenidhi Institute of Science & Technology in India with a Bachelor of Technology and from McGill University with a Master’s degree in Bioresource Engineering.
